Eric Tubb was born in or near Easthampstead, Berkshire early in 1917 to Alfred and Ella Tubb.
In 1934 he enlisted with the Royal Artillery.
In the Spring of 1937 Eric married Ivy E Wrighting in Alton, Hampshire.
Eric was killed in action on 19 May 1940 in the Battle of Belgium
while serving with the Royal Artillery near Leuven.
Eric Tubb is buried in the churchyard at
Estaimbourg, Belgium.
They shall not grow old,
as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them,
nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun,
and in morning
We will remember them.
